A few updates to mention - New tunes added to the Wudgrubz section. A picture of my dinner guests has been added to 'My Favourite Things' section: Other parts of this section have also been enlarged. More to follow.



Tuesday, 26 December, 2006.
Starting with a couple of images from this year. The first, taken on the island of Majorca and the second, in Amsterdam. Getting back from Spain started the great '2006 Fitness Campaign' and I am almost two stone lighter in the Amsterdam pic - Though, you'd not know it from looking at the two photos. I also have a much better tan in the first and much blonder hair in the second.

Saturday, 23 December, 2006.
Was thinking about writing something for X-Mas and had the most curious thought. As I typed, it occured to me that someone, somewhere out there in cyber-land may actually read these words. I don't think that possiblity ever really occurred to me: Not in any real sense. My 'hit-counter' reads 1226... So, I guess someone tunes in, at least once in a while... Hello! I think that in our mutual and abstract moment of virtual connection, there is a real interaction which is a mirror of the true nature of the human soul.

The 'Splurge', soon spluttered out, and it's taken me the best past of a year to pick-up where I left off. For starters: The 'Dated' sections are starting to fill out. Hopefully, before I die, I'll post a small image and a bit of blurb for each year. The 'My Favourite Things' bit of the 'People Section' is also starting to bud.

Wednesday, 23 November, 2005.
Now that's what I call a 'Splurge!' Only twenty-four hours later and a great chunk of one section arrives. It's the Wudgrubz section and this wasn't even given menu- space when I constructed the templates for these pages; in October, 2003. Back then, music was not even a minor factor in my life. Nor had it been since that terrible day, back in 1993, when an insane demon stole it from me! Indeed, my biggest hope when starting these postings was that they would help to fill a part of the hole in my life that was originally created by the destruction of my musical dabblings. With some degree of irony: The main reason nothing happened in my personal bit of cyber-space for almost two years, was that music suddenly and unxepectedly re-entered my life in a big way.

Tuesday, 22 November, 2005.
In the two years since first putting HTML to ISP, I have received sixteen e-mails from other individuals called 'David Stead'. With one notable exception, all my namesakes have contacted me to say something along the lines of: "Hey, Dude. You're obviously not using the domain name. Why not donate it to me so I can get my own thing going?" They do have a point! One update in two years is hardly the sort of development I anticipated at the onset of this project. But that's all going to change quite soon...
